Bogdan Severin, sales director of real estate online portal IMOPEDIA.ro gives us more details about the new real estate event that will take place during August 5 - August 8 at the Black Sea Romanian coast.

Real Estate Race is a "hub event" specially created for the real estate market and its connected fields. I would dare to say that it is a "business casual" event because in addition to the business and networking component, there is also the relaxing one. The promotion of residential projects at the national level and the creation of a relaxed business networking environment are just two of the goals of this event.

Why did Imopedia.ro organize such an ample event and why at the Black Sea?

We assumed the role of being the megaphone of the real estate industry  and through this event we intended to create supporting elements for the real estate market in order to make it pass through the storm existed on the Romanian economy since 2008. It was visible our interest to develop a more shaped real estate community and to support its performances during the Imopedia signature events. I would mention here The Round Table - Who is determining the price of houses in 2010? the National Conference of Real Estate Agents and the support to organize the training course held by Tony Macaluso.

We chose to organize the event at the Black Sea because there is times of vacations and most of the customers nationwide are spending their holidays at the seaside. I think there is no better place to gather people around the country and to offer the opportunity to meet residential projects that support the recovery of the market than Black Sea coast.

There is a Romanian proverb: "Eyes that are not met them are forgotten" - and why should we stay in the way of "happiness" instead of creating a place where "these eyes" can also meet in holidays?!

Customers' trust in real estate developers is lower and I think that their presence to as much as possible fair-trades, especially to an outside Bucharest one determines an increase of their trust and a consolidation of the reputation. The spread of the event was not set up in an extended manner by us; it came as a natural step, with us being adapted to the demand. The grandness of the event is due to our customers.

What will the visitors find at the exhibition?

Visitors will find a wide range of residential projects, financial solutions for housing and house&garden. Because a new house is well suited with a new car, there will also be a premium car exhibition. And because it is about sea while houses are the central issue, we will have a contest of yachts on Saturday on the Black Sea. Yachts are also perceived as houses, suited for holidays on the sea, of course. We will also organize a raffle for those visitors that make an appointment for visiting, with the greatest prize being a yachting contest offered by our partner, Blue Marine Yachts.

To whom is addressed this event?

The event addresses a wide range of categories and for the offering one I would include:

On one hand we have those that offer housing services and products, regardless it is about residential compounds, interior background, thermal and sanitary appliances, financial solutions, etc.

  • Car dealers
  •  Nautical sports fans
  • Businesspeople that intend to consolidate their contacts network and to close some partnerships. This fair-trade wouldn't have taken place if the public hadn't existed, respectively "the eyes" that shouldn't miss the bidder.
  • Interested individuals in buying a house
  • Those who are looking financing solutions in order to buy a house
  • Those who are looking for different solutions to decorate their house and garden
  •  Those interested in buying a car
  • Nautical sports fans

What is the novelty that this fair trade brings?

If it weren't some novelties it wouldn't be necessary to organize such a real estate fair trade. It will also offer a virtual element available during the whole event. The newness consists in its format thought to be a business event dotted with sport and re-creative events. We won't anguish nor the exhibitors or the public to come and see us when the weather is hot. The exhibition will be opened starting 16.00 PM to 24.00 PM, with the first day of the event being an exception due to the press conference.

We will communicate other surprises at the right moment. I am convinced that this event will be a success and this can be proved by the trust of our partners: the city-hall of Constanta, Heineken Romania and Blue Marine Yachts.
